There I was planning to import the latest 6 xbox games, but really worried about the friggen post office, sticky fingers and what not.

For some reason had a look on Kalahari, net, and sheez louise, damn good prices.

I just gone and ordered the games from them , it came slightly more than importing but zero stress and worrying about the SAPO thieves.

So my games to be delivered Monday are Midnight club LA and Fable 2.
My pre order games are COD 5 and GOW 2 and I am still thinking about St's Row 2, Fall out 3 and Far cry 2!

All the games I ordered just under R600 each and free delivery, sweet.

Now hopefully my next post will be Monday afternoon going yay my games have arrived!!

I prefer take2 myself. But kalahari is also good.

Take2 is my first stop, then Kalahari.

I've had 3 run in's with them and no run ins with Take2.

*Run ins = bad experiences

I've had one run in with Take2 and after being burned like that I promptly stopped buying from them also. Kalahari FTW.

I bought a ps2 gamepad from them, mine were failing left to right, the majority Logitech brand. The one I got from them was also Logitech, but I was tired of spending all my money on gamepads for the ps2 (it's days were coming to an end).

So when I got the controller day one the left stick had a tendency to stick in the backwards position, like if in Tomb Raider I'd be running forward and if I let go she'd start walking backwards. The other thing was when pushing forward and turning either left or right there'd be a dead zone that would not register that position and as such skip a frame.

I wrote Take2 an email detailing all the problems I was having and they sent over a courier to pick it up. They sent it for testing to wherever they get their stock from, and they concluded that nothing was wrong with the thing.

After two and a half weeks of waiting I was told that the controller is fine and I must pay something like R70 to get it back (handling fee and courier cost). I told them I didn't want a faulty controller back and it was ridiculous that I had to pay to get that piece of rubbish back. After a weak of no one budging I sent them an email saying I'd never buy from them again, sent them their money and got that crap back. I just wanted to be done with them.

Had I bought this at Game or something I'd get a replacement no sweat. After that I wont buy electronics online again.

I won't buy electronics online either, only games and stuff like blank dvds etc.

Just remember hey, when it comes to hardware, you can't blame Take2, its the electronics eh.

BTGames are good for preorder, they deliver the day it releases... which is sooo cool!

I like Kalahari, they have good prices, hand out free vouchers, have free delivery and have got it right 9/10 for me.

Failing that I'll do BT next and Take 2 last. Take 2 are relatively expensive, and there's no free delivery.

I prefer Take2 again...it seems that they get the items I want when I want it.
I am a bit too impatient...

Dare i be devils advocate and say it's your own fault for buying a 3rd party controller? With consoles 1st party controllers are ALWAYS the way to go. No exception.

I agree with you, just a pity I had two original Sony controllers fail on me also. I have some poor luck with these peripherals.

ok, games arrived as expected. very prompt and reliable service. email and sms with tracking, very pleased with them.

Hey guys, just another newbie here :) Just wanted to add, I've being buying games from Kalahari.net for over 3 years, I've never had any problem with deliveries and such, and their customer service team is great and reliable. On the other hand, is boils down to personal experience, every consumer, at least once in their lifetime has to experience bad service in one way or another. Most of us, just leave and don't support them anymore, but in that way, the retailer/s just goes about their business as usual, so if u complain and put it out there, they sure would catch a wake up and lesson their errors in future....So, NO TO BAD SERVICE ANYWHERE, WE PAY FOR WHAT WE GET!!!

I'm about to order a PS3 from Kalahari - they got the best price for the 40GB version and you get 10% back in vouchers when you pay with ebucks. I've confirmed with them - they have stock and next day delivery!!

yay, just got emailed gears of war 2 on the way, has been dispatched.
