Hey guys,

I'm looking at purchasing one of these 8 channel kits for a house. What are your views on these cameras, I need to be able to view the cameras 24/7 regardless of day/night and weather conditions.

The cameras will be situated outdoors and viewed on a Monitor as well as on network computers via the desktop software.

Would you recommend the KGuard cameras/kits?

Where is the best place to purchase one of these kits?

Appreciate your input

*Would you recommend another brand other than KGuard?

EDIT:If you thinking of getting one of those KGuard kits also look at the range of LED TV's , especially the HiSense 24” which goes perfect with those Kits.

Bought one of those 8 camera 8 Channel DVR units yesterday for R4999 ex vat. Added a 1TB HDD for R699.

All from Esquire.

Seen some screenshots somewhere on mybb and seemed good enough for my needs.

The cabling in the kit is apparently 18m in length per camera - so if you need longer, you will need to get extra cabling.

hey rino

Im also looking around on this topic. I saw another post on mybroadband regarding this kind of topic as well which is a fairly good read. It doesnt answer your question at though seeing as its a different brand, never the less.

Also if you do end up going with the Kguard post back here with your findings please :)

Beware the K Guard kits are entry level and the DDNS is not great at all..
Just my experience.
