As Telkom's price increases take effect consumers are growing increasingly impatient and are terminating their services with the operator in droves.

Left them last year November. Waited until end of July for Neotel to offer a fixed-line service like DSL or fibre, it didn't come, I moved back with Telkom

Sad part is that I play online games and 3G has let me down badly. The only options left are ADSL and WiMax and no company seems to offer decent WiMax other than the scumball telscum.

They are pretty much the only option though if you make a lot of calls and need the fixed line for faxing etc. Untill neotel are nationwide at least...

Converted my line to prepaid in April. Hopefully Neotel will sort themselves out in the next 8 months. I really don't want to renew that Telkom line for a further 12 months.

Dropped them then started a bussniss and had to get them again for the asdl line and faxing.

Still got a telkom line but as soon as the number portability is sorted so that I can keep my number I'm switching to Neotel.

Neotel still has a lot to sort out and get right but I can handle it for now. But what I cant handle anymore is Telkom!!!

I think I'll stay with Telkom. I'm not sure if ADSL subscribers are buggering off since ping's aren't improving with this so-called "hang up".

Line rental has gone up from R111 to R125 or thereabouts. I'll most likely go to Neotel once they have really proved themselves and when they offer a really awesome broadband deal with normal phones and such that I can use my phone and adsl at the same time.....
