So does the uncapped bolt-on automatically kick in at 6PM sharp or do I need to disconnect / reconnect?
Also how long does the Vox portal take to update the traffic usage and recent sessions?
Is it just me or are they starting to shape this bolt-on? Tried to download a linux distro last night and could barely breach the 200kb/s mark on my 6mb line. Use to get full speed all the time![]()
We need @cvanwie to fix the problem. He usually fixes things. Looks like a bug in the system that needs fixing. Its not going to get fixed via ticket support....
any set limits to the Bolt-on like say 250gb or 300gb (allocated) or whatever???
Its sad that they are not fixing the real problem here and just handling it on a case by case basis which is not working clearly....
I've been saying this for a while. Seems I'm not going crazy after all. What's concerning is that it's affecting the fatpipe as well.

Finite resource, exponential users. Math.
Been on it for about 6 months now. I was lucky enough to get the FatPipe with the bolt on. Haven't had a days issues so far. Always amazing speeds and I had great service. Was signed up and activated same day I inquired.

We only shape in times of congestion.

Wow thanks for all the great replies and replying to previous questions Chris. Most replies are usually just the last question. Very helpful.
I can see this holding true if there is an uptake in fat pipe accounts that keeps up with the after hours demand. Not true Cloud, when we see more requirement is needed on a specific IPC, we order it. We have warning systems in place to alert us as to when we are specific percentages from max load. These warnings are in place for us to cater for the bandwidth as needed.

Chris

Hi chris
Thanks for the reply
Does this mean that, irrespective of what profile the bolt-on is, it is now been changed to a shaped service?
The reason for my question is, due to my download running at 22:00 last night, would this be seen as a time of congestion for you guys?
