@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

Yup getting the same, cant even access Mybroadband without changing to a WA or AH account.

So let me get this straight. I 'm getting 4Mbps (Telkom line + ADSL) Internet, then + R59 = uncapped?

From 6pm to 6am weekdays and on weekends yes. But since everyone has jumped on the band wagon it has gone down the toilet.

Im on WA now because i cant even browse to certain sites including mybb.

Not true hey. Its gone down hill for CPT people not people in KZN upwards.... I'm flying here on my 13Mbps line now. 1.3MB/s download speed, streaming is fine.

I think so. @cvanwie confirmed that CPT is a problem and they will be upgrading it. He told me JHB is also has high traffic but is not congested yet so ppl from KZN upwards should not be getting slow speeds I think. I don't actually. I have my vox details in the router and dial my Telkom account if I need it but the Vox account is pretty much still a great performer.

You will notice all the people complaining are usually from CPT or close to. Are you getting slow speeds and high latency? If yes you must be from CPT then?

But try and download something. I think the max 10Mbps can get is 1MB/s to 1.1MB/s I had a 10Mbps line.

I use about max 200-300GB of data a month so I don't download the whole internet. One thing with fast internet is that you get tired of wanting to download everything. My connection is on idle most of the time at night unless I seed some torrents.

Wish I had full 20Mbps but yeah distance from the exchange... sucks but better than 10Mbps so I'm happy.

Yep, I'm in CPT. Seems to be better now though.

I also couldn't access mybb last night, had the same or similar issue twice before. Feels like a DNS issue as it was only mybb that was slow or timed out. Changed ISP's then it was fine.

They must be upgrading here in CT. When i Irace my pings to their european server is normally a stable 160-180ms, last 2 nights well over 400, but only from 8pm till about 11pm, time i normally race haha.
Anyway hope they making progress, not to worried about the downloading but more my pings......;)
