@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

I don't believe it is a DNS issue. I tried changing DNS servers with no effect, looks like it's a routing issue - I posted this mtr last night showing where it's failing:

Code:

Good to know. I see other peeps complaining about slow mybb on other ISP threads, so maybe not a Vox thing then. It's just strange that the other day when I was having issues and swapped over to another ISP, the problem went away, so I assumed it was a Vox thing.

MyBB crapping out again.

What is the cancellation policy for Vox, is it also 1 month notice? I'm contemplating moving to Telkom softcap if this isn't sorted out by the end of the month.

Latency was much better last night, but not perfect yet. Then again, can you really complain for the price?

that's the wrong mentality. they offered a product. I expect what they offered. if a hooker offered herself at a price less than her competitor's im still going to expect a good shag. so when she drops her pants and she has a d!ick I shrug my shoulders and say 'what can you expect for this price' and continue?

no, I expect the promised service level.

second day mybb seem to to blocked by vox. no problem opening from axxess, afrihost, cybersmart or connection yet vox simply don't open.

??

last night it was fine.

It was down for a little bit, then it came back.

Increased latency again today, at 8am sharp :/

You are funny at least :P
But I don't think you can compare internet to a hooker. But to go with your anology. Just like you would check out the T&Cs of the ISP you sign up, you should also check out the merchandise before you hire her for a shag.

I've found over the last 2 weeks, loading pages on MyBB has been problematic no matter which ISP I use - Vox, WebA. or Afrihost. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, all 3 ISPs are affected for me.

I don't tend to get pages timing-out completely, just that they load very slowly. My impression is that it's this website, and they should be looking into sorting things out, not any individual or group of ISP/s.

All other local or overseas websites load as fast, or slowly, as they usually do (at these problematic times for MyBB).

MyBB bombed out now on Vox. I've just set a permanent route on my pfSense box now so that MyBB goes through my Telkom account.

This account is now the worst account I've had in a while, even Afrihost was better than this. Have hardly downloaded anything before midnight this month and now when I want something it's going at 600KB/sec on my 40Mbit line.

Why is it so hard to find an ISP that just works! Maybe I should just go back to OpenWeb :p

After singing their praises for ages I'm on the verge of cancelling. Sigh, hope its not like this over the weekend.

I've never had problems accessing mybb on my vox account. Also no issues streaming Netflix on 2 Mb line.
