I check the mweb support page for adsl network notices. Its direct notices issued for telkom adsl faults. It will notify you of cable breaks tha affects on certain areas or even if there is a exchange that is down.
 
Currently on 2mb dsl looking at going up to 4 mb. Would like to know what you guys suggest keep it simple ( no pun in intended ) and upgrade line with telkom or shop around ?

I got a 4Mbps line with telkom last week and it was really painless. AH and WA are cheaper with their lines but I thought I'd stick with Telkom and then chop and change my data if need be without touching the line.

Thanks I think that's the best not that more expensive than the rest.
 
Bleeugh!

Internet is up to **** again tonight. Can't load MyBB over my Vox account.

I stayed on my Afrihost connection last night so cant confirm if it was an issue in jhb as well
 
I was using my Vox account earlier on in the evening but then changed to WA so not sure whether JHB was fine or not either.
 
I had the same issue last night from CT... seems like local access & p2p was the problem... international was fine.
 
Starting to bug out again.

MyBB is intermittent.

Massive packet loss at CORE.GP-CN-HET-MEE-1.TO.GP-HV-ICT-MEE-1.DFA.P2P.10G.za, seems to be intermittent so it will be completely gone for a while then suddenly come back.
