We should have tiers, so those who legit use it for normal use and those who klap it 24/7 are distinguished and not labelled the same.
I agree. So it would be pretty much a home bolt on and a heavy user option for slightly more in price? and both upto 40Mbps.
or just a simple dont be stupid and abuse a great thing, both would work but really i think abusers should just be terminated
Totally agree but Vox limiting it to 10Mbps is not going to curb the abusers because it means you can still download @ 1.15MB/s which leaves plenty space for abuse.

Or they should make it the same as all the other ISP's uncapped offerings and link it to line speed. Because I'm on a 2 Mbps line and rarely use more than 50 GB a month, mainly streaming with the odd download over weekends.
I made a suggestion to Chris that I am willing to pay 4x Bolt-On to be able to receive a 40mbps Bolt-On account...
Lets see what happens to the suggestion

its an after hours account so I don't understand how someone can 'klap it' for 24/7. there are other users besides us. maybe those dudes on > 10mbps lines are 'klapping it'. but limiting vdsl users who are moderate users is a bit of a brainfart. im only on 4mbps so it doesn't affect me directly but we are all customers at the end of the day. if they can screw a certain category im sure they can screw all the others as well.
On a 40mb line, you are getting to the end of the internet real quick. So its only about the first week or so that you would be "klapping" it and then just download what you need.
I haven't really "klapped" any account in my life before.. Only this WebAfrica account to enter the competitions. But even then I reached the end of the internet in the 5th day on my 20mb. I just redownload the same **** over and over
For R 59 I really don't think any of us are been "screwed"
Yes the lack of comms in letting people know that this deal was going to be limited at 10 megs was poor - for what we are getting it is a bargain. This month I have not used it once and I am happy to pay R 59 to have access when I need it

Still waiting for Vox to get back to me regarding my cancellation.
Sent a mail on Sunday, sent another mail yesterday to a different address and Chris also sent through the request on my behalf yesterday afternoon.
Times like these I actually miss Openweb, support always replied within an hour.

Our Uncapped Bolt-On product was created specifically for ADSL technology, and never intended to be offered on a VDSL service.
By allowing it on the VDSL offering, it will severely impact the service / experience for the bulk of our uses – which is contrary to what we want to achieve.

Hmm, alright... so if I upgrade my line to a 20Mbit ADSL 2+ line, not VDSL line
I'm not using VDSL, I'm using 20mb ADSL2+... So with your argument I should be getting full speed on my line
