Hi guys,

My posture is taking a beating at work so I've decided to buy a laptop stand. However, I can't seem to find one that is reasonably priced and that can adjust the height. I don't need it to cool the laptop, I just need it to elevate it.

Does anyone know where I can find one for a good price?

Thanks in advance.

Try looking for a "standing desk". Or consider a draughtsmans table if you have no luck otherwise.

Get a good chair - http://www.ergotherapy.co.za/getone.php - about 2.7k but worth every cent..

They also have this - http://www.ergotherapy.co.za/products_ergotilt.php which would do what you need - only issue is MOQ - but give them a call very helpful people.

I had an ergotilt too (you can get them at game and makro) but it's not what you want! It only raises your laptop about 5cms off the desk, I gave it away (the guy who uses it raises the back by putting a piece of wood under the back, not ideal.

The chair I agree with you though a good ergonomic chair is worth every cent

Thanks for all the responses guys.

I doubt reasonably priced and a new table go together.

Have a look here, http://www.pricecheck.co.za/offers/7656454/HP+Basic+Adjustable+Notebook+Stand/

I've seen that one but the plastic which bends over in the front looks like it might be uncomfortable when you type. Also, I need it to fit in my laptop bag as I work at the client's office and will be taking it home with me everyday. SomeoneEls, can you please comment on that?

Agreed. That is why I'm looking for an adjustable one. That one is a bit too low for my liking. Getting a chair is not really an option for the same reason as having to take the laptop stand home each day. Besides, I currently have more important things I need to spend money on.

I got the Logitech N110 it's adjustable & add keyboard = win
Was bought from Inc Con

I use an external keyboard, but yeah i think it would be uncomfortable and your wrists would take strain typing like that.

It won't fit in your laptop bag. The ergotilt doesn't fit properly in one either, it's oddly a little longer than 15.6" laptop bag

Tun@ does it fit in your laptop bag?

never used it like that but just took a look - yes fit easy into laptop bag, folds down to about the same size as the laptop lid, those 2 prongs that hold the base fold down also.
