@bwana ,@Spizz and @Kola_CT I've finally figured it out,
why people love Apple and defend it so vigorously.
and why myself and other Android guys (@wizardofid) , cant understand why you would ever spend that sort of money on a phone.
it all comes down to the Value you ascribe to things.
I value, functionality, reliability, upgradeability and ease of repairs anywhere.
you value other things,
Design, and more premium feeling materials and simplicity of operation, and not necessarily value of the phone.
and its okay,
its honestly okay to love those things, everybody is different.
one who drives a Toyota Corolla, and one who drives a BMW, are different, clearly have different value systems.
but what ISN'T okay.
is EXPECTING Apple to play Androids game, and keep their phones going for a nice long time, or the Battery after the contract is over
keep working as it was new, again, thats not Apples Business model.
just like BMW's business model isn't for you to keep your old car going for dozens of years after the motor plan has expired.
or for you to visit any garage with your Fancy X7, and fix it at Siphos bush garage, and he will figure out why its misfiring.
or can rebuild the VANOS system or the cr@ppy plastic engine parts that break constantly
point being, everybody's value system is different, I would never own a BMW, just like I will never own a Apple device in a thousand years.
I dont see ANY value in it, never have, and never will, and Yes, I have used a Apple, just like I have driven a BMW, and didn't understand the value in buying such an expensive piece of cr@p, nothing wrong about that.
so when I see Apple people complaining about the update is breaking the phone, I say
What did you expect? you KNEW what you were buying, you KNEW what you are signing on to,
what is there to complain about? you take what you got, and throw it in the trashcan,
and buy another, as thats what Apple wants you to do.
same too, if something expensive breaks on a BMW, like a VANOS system in that fancy Dual clutch system.
costs more than the car in many cases, again,
you KNOW what you signed on to get, deal with it, DONT complain,
you didn't buy a Toyota Corolla, you CANT fix it anywhere you want, even an Independent Mechanic for BMW's is Probably richer than you.
TLDR: pointless complaining about a companies business model, when you Know Perfectly well what they sell,
deal with it the way they want you to deal with it, upgrade your Car, or buy another phone,
why people love Apple and defend it so vigorously.
