Micheal Crichton had a few books made into movies. The SciFi ones include sphere , lost world (Jurrasic Park), the Andromeda strain and Congo

I enjoyed Sphere, lot of folks I know didn't but it's well worth a watch.

Judge Dredd (2012)



I loved it. I was brought up with (and still read) the comic strip and it was so close to the JD world in terms of characters, scenario and locations.

I loved the comic. This movie was sad.

I couldn't disagree more. I felt it was very authentic and it stayed true to the comic, all the way from the manner and look of Dredd and Anderson to the feel of Mega City One and it's inhabitants, clothes and language.

The Stallone movie, now that was sad. But this one was zarjazz

I hated the series with a passion, but liked the 2 movies probably because I was not comparing it to anything

Dunno why people hated Into Darkness. I enjoyed it.

Benedict Cumberbatch made it compelling.

I was disappointed with Transcendence due in large part to Depp sleepwalking through the role. The themes of immortality are tackled much better in Lucy.

Lucy and Limitless(2011) share the same DNA.
