Thats why its called quick case :) Without actually opening the case you can see the time and notifications. Instead of unlocking thw phone and then checking notifications.

If you don't have a case then there's nothing to open. And you only have to tap the screen to see your notifications.

Well each one to his own. I like what it brings to the fone. And the best part is that it doesnt make the fone look big and bulky and uncomfortable.

going to be used for work. some essential app recommendations? personal phone is iPhone and dont hate...

do a lot of networking so suggest those apps and productivity id say.

Servers Ultimate Pro is the free app of the day on the Amazon app store, so perhaps quickly rush and grab it.

Imo, Smart Office 2 is the best office app on Android. DroidEdit is the best for coding on the go. Mobile Doc Scanner is great for creating PDF files just by photographing documents. Swype and SwiftKey are way better than the default keyboard.

So got my LG G3 about 2 weeks ago. Got it from MTN so received the promotional Quick Circle Case. It's awesome, only thing that bugs me is if I receive a Whatsapp the screen doesn't light up and I can see the notification LED since it's behind the cover so I never know if I have a message. I found it quite strange that they didn't make a hole for the notification LED.

Then I checked online and noticed that on all the pictures of the case there is a hole for the notification LED, also on all the pictures the print on the case says "LG G3" while mine says "for G3". Anyone know why this is? Did they redesign the thing after sending it to MTN? Maybe an MTN representative can clarify this? It's really annoying that I can't see the notification LED with the cover flap closed and it's not suppose to be the case...
 
Also noticed that on mine. I got used to double tapping on the quick circle screen to check for notifications lol
 
I've just never seen my LED in action and it's all colour customizable and stuff... But reckon the double-tapping route is the only way to go. Would be nice to see if you have a whatsapp or something from across the room
 
I bought my quickcircle case direct from LG store and it does have the little hole for notifications and its says LG G3

Seems mtn has a different version . Not the same as the original LG one

Cost R500 at the LG store
