LG G3

I had the Note 2 with a 5.5'' display, and could never get quite used to it although I loved it. :(

After six months, I sold it and went back to my Galaxy S2.

I reckon the size of the Galaxy S4 (4.99'' display) is perfect for a mobile phone, and it feels great in my hand.

"Lightweight metal housing" - hope its true!

My main gripe is the mix of S801 CPU, with a QHD display and 2GB RAM, doesn't make sense to me, and I think the G3 will pay the price overtime, IMO, LG should've waited for the S805 before making such a huge jump in display res and should've put in more RAM.

The G3 is looking like a G2 with a much larger screen res, yet with a slightly faster CPU, and yet the same RAM and battery as the G2.

Well, today is the day. Let's hope LG has some aces up their sleeve. This was a leak fest indeed! :D

This. I don't know why they went for the 801 SOC instead of the 805.

Like the S4 chipset struggled with a full HD display. It coped well, but never had blazing fast performance.

It will take some serious horsepower to push all those pixels around.

I like it. Perhaps not a must have upgrade from my G2, but a want to have nonetheless! The SD card alone is worth it, tbh.

Interesting, I never experienced that the S4 struggles with graphics at all. Is there a difference between the Exynos and Snapdragon variants in this regard?

I think its worthy upgrade from G2.
-Aesthetically a lot better, especially the rear
-SD card
-Camera with fast laser auto focus and OIS+
-Screen(although the G2's was pretty spectacular)

Here all you need to know with lots of pics. Launching internationally somewhere in June. I'll wait for a few reviews on how the 801 handles that QHD display. Might have to wait a bit more...

I wouldn't worry at all. I have the same resolution screen and cpu (although slower) in my tablet and it handles everything super smooth, gaming and all. And thats with Samsungs bloaty OS...

Its the Samsung Cortex cpu's that lag.

And how much battery juice it uses while doing it.

They are claiming same battery drain as current 1080p screens. Sounds too good to be true but now that they have announced it to the world it can't be anything less.

Im really impressed with this phone, so much so Im reconsidering my upgrade.

Watching that youtube vid above the G3 makes even the HTC one m8 look stupid. They are both the same size but the m8 has these massive bezels I didnt notice up until now.
