They definitely have it on their lists now. Ordered today, but on a corporate account. Not sure if the general public has access yet.

Apparently the guy that showed it to me on Sunday (at the store) works for LG. He told me to pre-order... I went today and they said all they actually do is take down my details and give me a call

Apparently stock has been released to the stores today. Hopefully that means the phones are available tomorrow.

LG G3 available on my MTNChoice 100 @ R 399 per month. Pretty reasonable I thought it would release at least @ R450 a month.It is very competively priced against its competitors.
iPhone 5s @ R429
Galaxy Note 3 @ R429 was R469
Galaxy S5 @ R469
Sony Xperia ultra @ R399 was R429
Sony Xperia Z2 @ R469
Lumia 1520 @ R 429 was R449
HTC one M8 @ R499
At this price the price of the Z2 ,HTC one and the S5 might have to come down to stay competitive.The iPhones price will propably only come down when the IPhone 6 releases I think.
The S5 mini releases @ R 369 per month.Crazy only R30 a month less than the LG G3.If you want a smaller phone rather get theZ1 compact @ R349.

Has anyone looked at Virgin Mobiles deal for the LG G3?
R399 on their Smartphone contract
- R200 Airtime
- 1GB Data
- 1GB Bonus data for 6 months
This seems like quite a good deal to me? No other operator comes close to this data at that price point?
How is the network on Virgin ?

In that case, it shouldn't be bad. However, this isn't a top up deal, so if you finish your airtime or data, then you can't get more- I think. But it still seems like a great deal to me. Although, their call rates to other networks are R1.75 pm, so I'm a little sceptical here

Having said that, it equates to about 115 minutes, which is reasonable.. Hmmm

And considering how often the calls drop - you could spend a fair amount getting your conversation completed.

Well at the moment my bill is R319. And thats with 100 sms, 120 minutes and 150MB.
I never hit the 100 sms or 120 minutes, but data...
