What's the serial start with?

505-509 is factory error thing.
Wife's at vodacom for repair for that exact reason right now.

Closest vodacom shop but so far my experience has been lacking. Try Google the issue and then LG chat support with proof/links.

I only found out about the factory thing after my phone was already in the shop.

I'll edit this post in a bit and link to my experience with vodacom so far.

And I upgrade online, so I'll probably take a drive to vodacom world tomorrow and go to the LG store there.

Yea I just went to the closest vodacom shop. All was well till it got to their Repair place.
Mine was also online, all my upgrades are.
