LG KS360 Chatterbox

ok a picture went through on bluetooth but a song would not go through telling me there is not enough space or something. i wanna try something else though.

yip, what i did now was move the songs and pictures to the memory card to open space on the phone but the bluetooth tells me the same thing that there is not enough memory for the mp3.

Haven't tried to connect mine to the PC yet. Did manage to transfer mp3 via bluetooth and moved it to memory card.

ok just setup email and so far 100% working order.

@ Peder lucky fish i just buy the mag when it comes out.

@ Crusader when you say via bluetooth do you mean from phone to phone?

Really do yourself a favour and get a subscription its totally worth it, mine has to be renewed soon though...

i know i know i been putting it off for a few years now, i don't know what it is but sometimes i feel if i go buy it in the shops then i know i have it. i worry my mag gets lots in the post.

Yup, it was phone to phone. Doesn't Windows detect the memory card as a normal mass storage device?

How does the e-mail work? Does it download the mail to the phone?

Will you believe it?

There is a lost mag insurance... if you don't get your magazine they will make sure you get another copy...

(no i don't work for them)

@ Peder ha ha insurance well thats nice of them will give it another look then.

@ Crusader i just did one phone to phone and it worked perfectly but why not via bluetooth online thats very starnge i must mess around some more with it. as for the email, just like my samsung e250 i was able to view my emails on my home pc via my phone so i set this one up too and i was able to view and send emails.

@Waynegohl: So you basically used it as internet connection? I saw the phone has an e-mail box so wondered if you used that. I'm happy with GMail so won't even mess around with it.

Did read in the manual that if you want to sync the phone with PC you need to have it set as data connection. If you want to access the memory card you need to have it set as mass storage and it will act like a flash drive.

Managed to transfer two CDs worth of MP3s to the phone via USB. Just select mass storage under the USB connectivity settings. Transfer speeds are slow though maxing at around 500 KB/s.

hi guys.

@ PostmanPot when you say message length limits do you mean sms, mms or the messages when i log into MyBB through OperaMini?

@ Crusader what i did was i used the settings for my Outlook Express (the settings are from my service provider telkom) so i out those in and i can check my emails and if need be reply to them. so what i am saying is without making a new email account you put your Gmail settings in the phone so when you are not at a pc you can still check your emails and reply to them.

Hi

Ja, pretty much using Opera for posts/webmail.

Hoping that using normal email through the phone's software has no limits?

ok i was gonna try it earlier before i came online but my battery went flat and it kicked me out of the session. at the moment i have it connected to the pc but i don't get the same info that Crusader is getting oh a nd it seems the battery is charging too while it is connected to the pc has anyone else seen this yet?

ok i went on the forum with the phone and it did take a bit long and when i got to this thread it kicked me out and said i must do a connection test. the graphics are awesome. i will try again over the weekend as i am on prepaid and only have a R12 vodacom voucher in but i will give it a shot again.

This should also be a nice thing if it works, that you can keep in touch with the work etc when it comes down to that. A suggestion is to set your email client to only download the headers...

Just beware of roaming costs, especially when going international tho...

Thanks for the feedback. Could you check though if there are any message length limits? :p

One word : postwhorer's bane if there indeed is a message length limit... :(

I can recall from my experience with Opera on the Nokia 6600 that there indeed was a message length limit... :( but for normal "I'm alive" and "Kick his butt, quick" type messages that won't be a problem, or else you can split your message over two posts.

Tried Twitter with this phone yet? I'm too scared to - incase I get a flurry of tweets and it eats my money
