Aargh! Orange's changing waiting times are drivng me crazy! Really have to replace my Nexus 4, and no idea when Orange are getting new stock!

My order is 'awaiting stock' and every few days the ETA goes up. :(

I originally placed an order with Orange when the Nexus 5X first became available and they did the same thing to me. Luckily back then the Orange price and the Zeekonline price was similar and could cancel my Orange order and get it from Zeekonline. Now however that is not an option with Orange being so much cheaper.

Yeah the price is drastically cheaper - that's if I ever get it.

Sorry for double posting as I posted this on the Nexus 5 thread as well, but I figured this might be just as relevant here since the phones are more or less similar.

How to stream music in the car via Bluetooth

I have a 2014 Audi A4 and have never been able to stream my music via using Bluetooth? Can one do this or its a Nexus limitation?

I have also never been able to get Google Maps voice navigation directions via Bluetooth in the car. My iPhone 6 foes this.

Lastly, u have an AMI Cable but it doesn't display music nor am I able to control playback via the car. Which virtually defeats the purpose.

I have the latest software/ patch on my N5 stock (never rooted).

Any advice?

That's odd. I have a very generic Bluetooth dongle connected to my cars axillary in and music streaming works just fine- I have no voice calling but that's because the dongle doesn't support the profile for it. Navigation also plays fine via the vehicle speakers. Unless you have a hardware fault, it's most certainly not a Nexus limitation. There's a bigger chance it might be your vehicle's entertainment system at fault. You say it works with your iPhone, so maybe a firmware update might fix your issues (I mean for the Audi, not the Nexus). Maybe ask around the VW/Audi forums?

For some reasons I have just always thought it was a Nexus limitation until I googled around only to that it's not the case. I mean, even back in the days when I used a Nokia this feature has always worked like a charm. Ok, I will check with Audi to see if they can do an update next time I take it for a Service.

"Stock expected in 8 days..." for the past three days. Damn, Orange.

Got my Nexus 5X last week from Orange. I must admit that I dot a pleasant surprise when the phone was delivered the next day. I placed an order last week Monday and on Tuesday morning it was delivered!

Anyway, now, one thing really really annoys me: How do you prevent accidentally increase decreasing the volume? I really find the volume keys rather misplaced, I'm always to having them on the left-hand side. Thanks for inputs.

My screen cracked randomly in my pocket. I can get a replacement but don't want to attempt to install it myself. Are there places that will install it that are reasonably priced in CPT?

Where did you buy a replacement screen from?
Are there you give vids on how to do it?

I haven't bought as yet but I see there are some on eBay. I found an installation video on YouTube but I wouldn't want to attempt it myself.

I was already on developer preview 4, so maybe that's one of the reasons my update came trough so quick.
Phone also no longer gives that warning telling you the software is beta. :)

Yes that could very well be. I opted out of the beta a month ago and is running good old Marshmallow at the moment. Will go and grab the factory image from Google this afternoon. A wipe can only do my 16 GB version some good.

Just received my nougat update. Busy downloading it now. 1175.5mb.

Good stuff. I used the beta signup trick the other day to get Nougat but I see there was a smaller update waiting for me this morning as well. Now the build number reads: NRD90R

I do not know about you guys but I have found the back cover on my phone is taking a bit of a beating. Dust particles that are caught between the back cover and the case I am using are eating into the rubber like material that coats the back cover.
