Yea this exactly happened with the death of Chris Cornell. It hit me hard for some reason and I didn't consider myself the most hardcore Soundgarden fan

When i first read "Chris Cornell" I thought of this guy:


and I was like "Did Chester and him get friends when he did his latest crap poppy song?"

A huge name in the music world ........ I personally was not much of a fan, but they did certainly create good music, may he rest in peace and may his family left behind be comforted through sincere condolences, and be strengthened by friends and family.

RIP, Linkin Park was the first alternative / rock band I got in to back in highschool after my brief stint listening to rap/HipHop, and the rest is history.
Thanks for the music on those first few albums.

Media loves to sensationalize. The "He committed suicide because of Chris Cornell" makes for a good dramatic headline. The only thing I will listen to is what the band members say. Everything else is garbage and hype.
