Linux networking + DSL connection help needed please

Hi guys

I haz a small issue i'm hoping someone can help me understand. I used to connect via my cellphone using vodabundles in Ubuntu Network manager, 'mobile broadband' connection. While I used this connection there was no problems with me being on the LAN at the same time.

But now I have ADSL activated, i created the connection under DSL connections, it connects fine and i can surf. But connecting to DSL automatically kicks me off the LAN. I can't be connected to 2 at once it seems. How do i set it up so that i'm connected to teh webz + still on my LAN?

My setup is 1 x PC plugged in to a switch, Billions 400g adsl router also plugged into the switch! Is this wrong? Can some kind soul please show me the error in my ways?

I suspect he setup his DSL as a PPPoE connection (instead of just letting the router do it) and network manager only allows one connection at a time.
