Look at this Moron

I think they need to show ppl like this woman the crash-test video I saw once on TV. 30kms/h, toddler "unrestrained" in the back seat, went through the windscreen on impact.

That is what I think of every time I see someone driving around like this woman.

that's rich coming from a taxi driver, I guess you're the type of guy that gives other motorists the finger when you drive recklessly too

Don't you hate it when people pull out the "mind your own business" card in one thread, and yet are glued to the Oscar P. thread throwing around their opinions? I think there is a word for that. Oh ya, Hypocrite.

Sorry about the picture quality

But check this women out her kid is on the back board of the car while she is driving

I could not believe my eyes

Seriously have to arrest these people

I cannot arrest her and if I could I won't. I hope you were not driving while taking that picture.;)

When will people grow up and stop being concerned about what others do?

The difference here is choice, and that kid has none.

Again, shame then report her to the authorities, most if not all kids have no choice but I can bet you that the kid sat there because he/she wanted to. As kid I used to travel in a boot of an old Corsair because i liked it. Now scatter along!

Lets discuss kids traveling on the back of a bakkie, but I am afraid you will get a fit and wet your pants.

I love how people always say its none of your concern, can you imagine how you would feel if you slammed on brakes for someone running across the road and that car hit you from behind and the kid dies.

That would seriously affect me even though it was most probably the parents fault and the kid would have been fine if it was in a car seat.

Looks and sounds like a troll...Not sure why you have to resort to inflammatory posts when all that's required is rationale debate.

The answer to your question is that, as a child, you were probably unaware or unable to comprehend the risks involved and your decision to sit there isn't an informed one. That decision should have been made by your parent, someone who is (should?) rationale and able to appreciate the consequences of their decisions.

I used to do that as a child, but no way in hell will I let my kid do that, or even sit in the back without his seatbelt.

I suspect that the rationale behind this rational post may be lost...

I made it through childhood without ever having sat in a car seat, or using a safety belt. So did my sisters and cousins.

That kid surely was in danger when some moron driving behind the VW decided to take out their camera to take picture instead of concentrating on the road.
