We got a warranty? Nobody told me. Would have cashed in on it when he didn't come home from the hospital but got stuck in ICU. Factory fault, I'd say :p

How do we go about getting an order cancelled with Loot?

There is no complaints resolution channel either. Swine! :mad:

They do not respond to emails. They take our call, but this is where it ends. They never come back ... and they do not resolve issues.

The persons we have dealt with are completely disinterested and sound like they do not care. Maybe they are in financial trouble and staff know that the end is near.

Any ideas?

Due to lockdown restrictions being lifted we currently have a high number of orders and are busy processing through the backlog. This is taking a bit longer than normal due to the limited number of staff allowed at the warehouse at any time, as you can understand their health and safety is of paramount importance to us. There have also been a number of delays with couriers due to the vast number of deliveries. We understand your frustrations and are doing our best to get your order to you as soon as we can in the safest way possible.

As we are experiencing high email volumes, we recommend that you call us on 087 820 5668 if you are contacting us for the following:

  • Cancellation of an item/order

  • Delivery address changes

Heh good luck with them. Their service is good when it works, but when it doesn't...

Never again. Simple as that. They do not sell anything I will not find somewhere else. This experience will ensure I never touch them in the future.

Takealot's service is actually amazing compared to Loot. At least they have a support structure that works. Even in the height of lockdown, they were quick with support. Outstanding actually.

Good luck @McT . I'm also currently waiting on an order from them. There's been no updated on my order since I placed it on the 15th.

Loot is great. This lockdown has caused a lot of issues for a lot of companies.

My issues were prior to lockdown. But yes, I'll use Loot again in the future. I've had terrible service from a lot of companies. It happens.

I've had some minor issues with loot but they usually sort it out quickly and I could easily talk to a person. Support staff has always been friendly. Phoned on Monday to return an item in another province than delivery and again the support was great, although I could hear they under a lot of pressure.

anyone ordered any computer components from loot? am still waiting for my order and its been 2 weeks...

Placed an order on 14th May, said item was in stock. Expected delivery 1 June.

Now the item says out of stock, expected delivery still 1 June.

I cancelled the order as I can get it elsewhere. I don't like that you have to call the call centre everytime you need to contact them.

@Snyper564 my order was not in stock. i called them today, they are sourcing the parts from rectron and frontsaIT, but the call attendant could not give me any estimated time of delivery.. :( will give it another week and then decide whether to cancel or not.. sigh
