Another 3 x 45 minute calls and.. progressA debit order should come off my account tomorrow or Saturday morning. A Courier IT tracking number will be provided. Then 5 - 7 working days later the hardware should arrive via courier. Must have ID and utility bill. They will call the day before delivery. I was told 'do not RICA the SIM card through anyone other than the 080 call centre' to avoid lengthy delays in getting it to work. Ohmygaawd Telkom requires every last ounce of persistence *dehydrated and weak,need sleep*

Could you PM which department you went through on 10213 you used. I also have the successful application but when I ended up getting through to someone on checking up the status(option 4 on the second menu), in order to progress it like you did, they always told me I needed to wait for an agent to call me.
10213. Seem to recall I pressed 2. Then 3. Then 1.
There is a number 4 option - check on the status of your online order. Put in your id. We are experiencing technical difficulties - put on hold for agent......waiting

Twitter has not got me any further either. They told me I can go in store and sign up but it will be R100 more, so R699 instead of R599.
Maybe the extra R100 is worth it over all this bs waiting around, site not working etc
So one phone call to them, waiting 26 mins to get an agent, I had a very friendly helpful lady assist. The total call time was 1 hours 12 mins....
She was battling to find my address and drop off address, even though the site found it same time.
I guess I got lucky first time with the agent. I'm now waiting for the confirmation SMS that it's been approved and then the debit order and then hopefully delivery.
I'm hoping and praying all things go smoothly from here on.
