LucidView mobile uncapped feedback

Dear client

Your debit order form was received and should be processed today. Your SIM card is on its way!

Regards
Paul

same here for me

Have you read this http://www.lucidview.net/legal yet?
Does not look promising.

Well, looks like a typical TOS to me.

ISP's have done this. MTN --> http://www.mtn.com/MTNGROUP/Pages/TermsConditions.aspx, but nothing really happens.
The prioritising is going to occur, but further than that? I don't kno...

Like somethings, it just baffles me
sending electronic messages that do not accurately identify the sender, the sender's return address, the e-mail address of origin, or other information contained in the subject line or header;
posting a message to more than ten (10) online forums or newsgroups, that could reasonably be expected to generate complaints;
We reserve the right to limit the number of emails that you may send in any given period or to limit the total message volume (amount of data) sent per hour.

Again they say
LucidView has no obligation to monitor content of any materials distributed or accessed using the IP Services. However, LucidView may monitor content of any such materials as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations or other governmental or judicial requests; or to protect the Lucidview network and its customers.

What I gather from the TOS is that they will be monitoring you, may be.

Question is, are they going to suspend your service because you committed copyright infringement? Sounds like, we wait and observe.

By the looks of it, those who think of it as an ADSL replacement, will be sorely disappointed.

Let's see when you get your sim & test it.
Awaiting feedback from the "beta" testers.

LucidView.net login says delivery will be next month on the 5th, which is on 05/11/2013.

/Delivery bumped.

I think most people here are confusing this product for a home Internet replacement. In the interview with the CEO on 702, he clearly says it's for kids who's parents don't want them to run out of airtime.

Just my thought.

Will keep a eye on here for feedback :p

Same email received this morning.

Same email this side. Expecting the sim next week. Planning to pop mine in a newly purchased tp-link mr3420 router. Hope I get something out of the experiment. Proof is in the pudding....

What makes you say that?

Also quite sceptical about this. They can't bill you & no sim received yet. Uptake not as huge as Afrihost I reckon, so they should ship quicker.

Showing off your capitec account.... :D

I have not been billed yet. I chose not to use my primary bank account incase they try and be funny.... Have yet to be billed. Money still laying there

Best way forward to call them. I will do that tomorrow. I also booked my sim and did debit order activation and emailed to them. They should debit tomorrow or Friday morning..

Post more feedback here guys

I don't trust this service at all to be honest with you if they can use your IP to actually view what content you downloaded, isn't that against privacy bill etc, unless a subpoena then I can understand that such details are required to be given to the relivant party.

Please keep us updated & feedback.

Some companies do deduct before receiving the goods but to me it's total nonsense why should they dispatch you a simcard to provision it to use a specific apn. I am sure they can do it remotely on their side and add the RICA SERIAL number etc.
