Black is beautiful, I wan't black anyways.... except that the Aluminium frame is black but that's ok.

They will just ignore me.

Also can you guys tell me if you have the overheat issue and the purple hue issue?

My company is at a conference in Vodacom World, I decided to stroll into the Nokia Store this morning.

This is what I found:

They (the store) said they do not know when anyone else (besides themselves) is getting the device as they "don't communicate with the other stores".

I found out the following:
Vodacom Store: ETA next week (perhaps the following).
Nashua Mobile: Next week (7th apparently, that'll be a Sunday?), that said Nashua Mobile are in the process of shutting down so I wouldn't expect them to get any stock.
Metro Lifestyle: No news about the arrival of their next wave of Nokia devices.

I only had a few minutes to play around with the store owners device as the one on display has a flat battery, feel is very solid and as expected Windows Phone runs buttery smooth.
 
To anyone that has got one or had some hands on time. How responsive is the app loading? My 920 has been great but since the 8.1 update I'm noticing a lot more of the resuming app screens than before, for things like calendar and email which not used to seeing.

They've actually made some changes to the resuming of apps, allowing quicker resume, but the apps will need to be updated to take advantage of this.

Nope. None of that. I did notice some heat in the lower right corner on the back but that is not any different from the heat I experienced with the Lumia 920. It goes away fairly quick and only happens when I use resource heavy apps.

Awesome, so far so good. That's not too bad. Some users reported really hectic heat issues in the UK.
So I'm just checking up.

On the White, Orange and Green 930s the Aluminium frame around the side is aluminium colour but on the black one it's black.
So it doesn't have that natural colour. So not sure how much more the black will scratch. Plus that silver would've been a nice break in colour.
 
That's rather strange?
Why would they create an aluminium trim that does not look like aluminium on the one 'colour' that many users would most likely choose?

I trust there will at least be some different colour options available as we normally do not have a choice.

My thoughts exactly.
However it seems like alot of people are quite fond of the Orange and Green.
I see more people on WPCentral with those two colours than the Black or White.
However some people have noted that the Orange is a tad brighter than they expected.

I miss Glance screen but I've enabled double tap to wake. Got used to no Glance screen really quick.

Battery so far seems alright. On par with my Lumia 920. It's at around 75% now and I've used it moderately. Some browsing and messaging. Came off charge at 5am this morning.

I echo Slicky ito Glance screen.
As far as the battery goes: I took mine off the charger at 6am yesterday morning. During the day I mostly downloaded apps and played around with Cortana. At 17:00 yesterday my data usage was sitting at just over 1Gb and my battery was at 40%.

So it's day two now. I'm still on the charge from yesterday morning at 5am. Sitting on 10% now and it's almost home time. 1 day 10 hours and battery saver says I can go for 3 more hours.

This includes browsing, updating, watching videos etc. I also have the following enabled:

WIFI: On
BT: On
GPS: On
Motion Data: On (nice seeing how many steps I take per day)

Apps in the background:

Facebook
Health and Fitness
Twitter
Cortana
Battery Saver
Here Drive+
IMDB
Instagram
Metrotube
News
Skype
Sports
Whatsapp

There a few others but that's just to give you an idea of how well the phone has managed the power I think.

That's pretty good to be honest.
Currently my phone just makes it till end of the day but I sometimes play a game for a few minutes that kills a hunk of my battery and whatsapp groups that can sometimes go into spam mode.
I'm using a Lumia 820(quite possible refurbished coz I got it when they couldn't repair my 800)
 
Today will be my first proper day with the phone... let's see how it goes.
Phone is much bigger than I thought and also thinner than I thought lol.

One that that I hated(nothing to do with the 930 itself) is that I lost all progress in my games :/
