Thunderbird is seriously annoying me so I may just upgrade and remove all the extra stuff and give Mac Mail a try again.
Yeah I never liked Thunderbird much. Mac Mail is ok, does the trick but although a paid app I still prefer Outlook for Mac.

I suppose which mail client works best depends on your needs. For the volume of mail I get at work, and volume of mailing list mails I have to deal with, Outlook (both Windows and Mac) and OWA are an absolute pain in the behind to use. I have it only to deal with meeting requests and occasionally adding/modifying filtering rules.
Hmm, I would have thought if you were getting tons of mail Outlook would be better?
Do you find Mac Mail works ok for massive amounts of mail?
So, I bought my iMac a few weeks ago and I qualify for a free upgrade. I tried to upgrade on Sunday. After some six-step process including scanning & uploading proof of purchase I completed the request. I received an email from "do-not-reply" address informing me that my request is being processed... I am still waiting!
1. Is this normal?
2. I called iStore and they told me to fetch an installation disc - I thought these weren't available?
3. Is there an email address I can write to, to find out why the delay?
Thanks
Is it normal to wait this long for OS upgrade details from Apple?
Are you dealing with Core or Apple?
Will check later when I arrive home. I think I used the apple.com/macosx link as indicated on the box.
How do I check?
My guess is, if you had to fax it to a ZA number, it's Core.
Didnt you jusy go to Digicape they will give you a disk for the install but you need to updte your snow leapord to 10.6.8 so long.I waited 6 days for my mail from apple did you get the reference number after you when through the six step?
