Would you recommend that lens? I have an A200.

Yes it is an awesome lens, really fast and great quality. I bought it from BHphoto in New York. Macro photography is a whole new world. I prefer the 105mm to the smaller one.

No - it was with my walkabout lens - 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 DG Macro

300mm and 270mm respectively.

Cool. Most macros I've seen are shot with 100mm f2.8 lenses and they look similar, so forgive my lack of judgement

No worries - this was done with a 50mm and a macro adaptor

and these were done with an inverted 50mm

Aah, yeah I remember those. What does the inverter do as opposed to the macro adaptor?
