Yes it is an awesome lens, really fast and great quality. I bought it from BHphoto in New York. Macro photography is a whole new world. I prefer the 105mm to the smaller one.

Cool. Most macros I've seen are shot with 100mm f2.8 lenses and they look similar, so forgive my lack of judgement :p
No worries - this was done with a 50mm and a macro adaptor

Aah, yeah I remember those. What does the inverter do as opposed to the macro adaptor?
