if you're not one of those people, then obviously im not talking to you! everyone would be everyone that bitches, in the context i wrote the message in.
Im sure you're also happy supporting the evil monopoly that has been screwing everybody for so long.
my pain is that people dont want to support a company, like IS that is at least trying to provide cheaper services (cheaper in the sense that you are not hard capped)

Not to critisize Mr Bean, openweb or nukecap...their service is good..but IS service is really bad.
Browsing is extremely slow for me (Before I was capped). Websites take forever to open (Something that really annoys me as SAIX opens all sites within a few seconds) And Now that I am capped, im barely getting 10k/s on local torrent downloads. I have tried different ports...etc and nothing has changed. As soon as I dial up with my SAIX account i get full speeds (line maxed to 35k)
It seems divided, some people are claiming full speeds from IS accounts, but I know alot of people including myself that find it extremely slow.
I dont see a point of 27 gigs of local bandwidth, if its so slow you can hardly use it. Yes I know alot of IS bandwith goes via satellite - but that should add maybe a second or two delay (unless the satellite is on the other side of mars). This makes me think they are overselling accounts and their network is congested.

Something is seriously wrong with IS connection (or maybe it is something else!) I am downloading at 6kBps! yesterday everything was fine speeds of 30k+ what happened between then and now? I am not capped as I just checked out http://users.isdsl.net/ and have about 1g to go!This is seriously affecting my work! Can any one clear up what is going on. Up until now I was very happy with my IS /openweb account but this is real bad! I still have a lot of work to do but I am waiting to download the files i need! This is killing me I am going to have to work all night now!!

Just found out local is fine downloaded test file from ftp.is.co.za at normal speeds.
So it seems to only be international.

Ass_sazin.. if your international is crawling like that, it definitely looks like your capped for some odd reason. My IS international on uncapped account still, is moving along at maximum linespeed whereas compared to capped account Im seeing the same speeds 4-6k/s

yeah it is really strange.
But it seems like it is better now, downloading is now going at normal speed, very strange! any way thanx for your help.
Just a side note:
IS has been very good for me, I have had no other complaints, just that today I had some downtime, but it looks good again now! So all and all my saix and IS experiences have been very much the same! Regarding the speed issue raised by some other members earlier, on saix my speed was good and on IS my speed is the same if not better, especially on torrents, so it does seem like it differs from user to user.
