Make DA Circle Bigger!!!

Even if the DA doesn't win Joburg or Pta, a more closely contested election leaves us all with a stronger opposition and maybe (just maybe) an ANC that realises its time is up if it doesn't start to deliver what it's been promising for the last 17 years. Struggle credentials and promises only get you so far - it's time for results.
If the rest of Africa is anything to go by it would mean the ANC would simply turn violent and oppressive in stead of actually delivering services.

Ffs no internet at work today and struggling with Vodacom connect!

Any updates on JHB, tshwane and potch ?

I'm curious about potch as the ANC failed to register candidates there.

ANC currently leading Potch, DA leading in JHB and Tshwane

I have never heared of the National Freedom Party? Who are voting for them?

Interesting - ANC votes has dropped in below the 50% + 1 - Mandela Bay at 12:37 - ANC 50.2%, Cope 4.8% and DA 42.3% (2006: ANC 66.53% and DA 24.39%); 107% count vs 2006 Tot #LGEResults

How does one count 107% of votes?

I think it means that there is 107% of 2006 votes ie in 2006 they counted 100 and in 2011 they have counted 107. The reason the would do this is for two, they dont know how many votes are to be counted and so you can compare to the previous vote.
