Threat to the votes that keep them in power. His politics have shifted everyone else’s to try hang onto power. Don’t think that is a bad thing personally. Too far either way is never good.

You're attempting to blame weak leadership, on opposition leadership's ability to actually compete in a democratic society.

The fact that you also think it is fine for YOUR leader to be so scared of the opposition that he CHANGES his political stance, to actually appease the opposition's voter base, makes me realize that in fact YOU should be banned from any voting booth for ever.

True. AF & Orania supporters are exactly like muslims if you think about it. Most muslims have no idea what their religion is about, never read Quran or Hadith but still support their own. Just for the heck of it. Same energy. In their case it is jews they are against. That is only difference.

only people prevented from owning guns are the good people. The people who lost the right to defend themself. Would not live in a place where a government denies my right to protect myself or my family.

Criminals dont follow laws, good people lost guns criminals still have them. And now criminals turn to knifes.

A total of 51,527 knife crime offenses were recorded in England and Wales in the 12 months up until June 2025 .

But who determines this part? Who decides how "bad" it is?

This just boils down to it being a political playball for both the left and the right.

And the Liberals may underplay this too much so as to keep traction in th epolitical arena, subsequently perhaps not recognizing that it is in actual fact worse than what they may want to let on.

Simply put: there is NO reason to allow these people into the UK. Zero.

Yes, now imagine those knife wielding types had guns instead of knives. Imagine some Rambo wannabe deciding to "defend himself" on a crowded railway platform.

The US, with more guns than people, still has a higher rate of KNIFE crime per capita than the UK.

Guns are the worst "solution".

I also never saw people getting murdered in South Africa and I do not know anyone that was murdered.

Yet there is 64 murders a day in South Africa.

October 28 there was a mass stabbing in the UK.
1 November there was a mass stabbing in the UK.

I'm sure you do not know any of these people that were stabbed. It did happen though.

YT and other social media has DAILY videos of people running around with knives in the UK, stabbing or threatening others. The fact that it it is, according to you, "mostly gang related" is also quite irrelevant.

And yes, guns is not the answer. The problem lies in the current state of social decay the world is experiencing as well as major culture clashes, based on unchecked migration.

However a lot of the stabbing incidents making headlines (including the one this thread is about), don't involve migrants.

Mate, we're never going to agree on this. I'd like to see your stats on all the lives saved in gun heavy countries.

And your car comparison is pointless. Cars have a use other than getting involved in accidents.

If I need to go and buy some groceries, it's never a dilemma about whether to go by car or travel by Glock.
