Massive free data increase from Vodacom

Bad luck if you're on the My Meg 750, you get the same data as the My Meg 500 but at a premium of R71, or perhaps you pay R71 to get a 100% discount on your out of bundle rate.

The table also seems incorrect as the My Meg 750 is increased by 2.25GB or a 300% increase.

Ja, apparently my Meg 750 came with 0.5GB of data :erm:
 
Too little too late for me, cancelled my voda contract last year coz of high cost of data and voice on contract. And their feet dragging when it comes to implementing cost reductions. and their pricing just doesn't make sense to me.

account to 5GB and a 2GB to 3GB' silly.

The much higher monthly data allowances further means that these customers are less likely to go out of bundle, limiting the chance of data bill shock.

The more people get the more they gonna use. I'm sure Vodacon is counting on that.

Afrihost is cheaper. I have to wonder how an ISP can offer cheaper rates than a cellular network for cellular data.

These extra allocations have been running for a few weeks already. Long before the AH offer.

You'll have to think up another conspiracy theory :)
 
And yet tons of expensive smartphone contract folks who get raped each month are still stuck on 250Mb whereas the guys who bought bundles based on their usage are awarded with tons of extra data... and to get this "benefit" I'll have to spend even more.

Makes no sense. What a bloody joke.

Only got 150 MB on Smart Standard 229.
