Mediabox's generally speaking

The Mibox picks up my play store as being South Africa (even if I use a VPN) and so I cannot download the apps such as Hulu, Showtime, CBS, Disney+ through the play store (as it tells me it is not available in my country) and so have to side load them.

If you are happy with just watching local Netflix and Showmax then good for you but I want a whole world of entertainment at my disposal.

I can watch Showmax on my Explora and I would prefer to have the USA Netflix than the local one for more choice.
I thought my Roku was too restrictive until I got the Mibox.

I tried to set one up for another country and it did not seem to take and showed me in South Africa.

I removed my SA card , and added my UK card and address. You might not have the same option.

Have to side load a couple of SA apps that I use, but in the main , most are on the UK store as well
