I hear they are sold out and they(Mercedes dealeships) are not taking orders until next year. There is a very long waiting list on them(A-class). I am not suprised. I've never seen so many people making so may comments and posting picture about any other car on facebook like they do with an A-class. Everyone is just mad over it.

I agree however ,the cramped room inside and the poor boot space is aswell as poor visibility does not boad well , looks alone does not make this a quality car

How does it drive? Comparable to the Audi? And the tactile feel of the interior better than the Audi?

If you want performance go with the A3, else for looks the A Class (the A250 should be compared the new S3 which is still on it's way)

The real difference in tactile feel and interior quality will appear in 10 years time. VAG products have a very high level of perceived quality, but with time the quality and perception fades. You don't get that in a proper car like a Mercedes.

I can tell you the 2003 A4s I have recently been in are far less nice than the 2003 C-classes.

They just know how to do it right that will last forever. Like MB-Tex, that stuff is durable like no other interior fabric I have come across, and I have seen some pretty nasty ones, I own two Opels....
