You are very lucky having multiple FNO's available. Sadly most of us is on the one FNO for the area thing, so we are kind of stuck with only MFN. The pricing doesn't make this outage any better, makes a person wonder why they are as expensive as they are and don't have any redundancy in place to prevent issues like these.
True, and want to take advantage of the free install as well.

Generally over the past 12 months metro has been down 2 or 3 times.

Connectivity at the moment is intermittent

In any case I'm waiting for an openserve install and then cancel with MFN.

Openserve is 999 for 100/50 and metro 859 for 25/25

Good package on Openserve there.

I’ve generally seen for me that Openserve was always more expensive.

There is no outages to report on Openserve.

Openserve transit their own traffic to IPC and to Teraco to handover to ISPs.

Thanks for feedback on Openserve, helps.

Yes, they route on different fiber/backbone or what you want to call it from Metro, from my understanding.

Yip, I’m lucky to have both Metro and Openserve, I guess, so with confirmation that Openserve is stable, make deciding to swop easier

They good?

I’ve heard some good things about Mind Your Speed, but never heard of them before
Had no issue on rocketnet and then moved to mind the speed because of their promo.

Both have been pretty good.

But mostly streaming. No gaming

Will be streaming as well.

When they launched, think it was 2 months free and 10% off for 6 months . Also they let you choose a router so that helped to purchase my USG as it got discounted by 50%

Openserve has moved from being one of the most expensive to one of the cheapest FNOs and the quality of the Openserve network.

Which area ? looking at the Centurion side... or shall I change my question.. if MFN is the only provider available, will you rather wait for another ? :)

I have had minimal issues with Metrofibre barely any down time I would not wait
