Hi All,

I am looking at upgrading my PSU. I have had my stock AOpen PSU for about 7 years now and I'm afraid the thing is going to die on me any day now.

I have about R900 budget for a new one.

I don't need something with that much power as I'm not running any sli, just something that is stable and will last me as long as my AOpen one :) 500W - 600W should suffice.

I have been told that Corsair is one of the top brands, and I'm maybe looking at getting the VX550. Does anybody have one of these?

All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

Very nice PSU, you will never go wrong with a Corsair; and it fits into your budget perfectly.

Grab the Corsair for sure. They're excellent value for money, with the added benefit of a 5-yr warranty.

I just got one of those PSU's... You apparently can't come close to it in that price range

I ordered my VX550 today, couldn't find one slightly bad comment about it on the entire interwebz. The HX650W was slightly out of my price bracket. Tx guys!
