Mini atx Linux box

I am looking to make a mini atx form Linux box to hook up to TV for a little streaming and gaming.

It's purely for fun and love of putting components together. Budget around the 3k mark.

Had my eye on the cooler master 120 advanced with the asrock mobo z77?.. I think it was..

Anyway any suggestions on specs and best place to buy. Pref intel but not sure if an 1155 would be overkill?

For these budget builds it's a lot better to go AMD than intel, in my opinion.
