Never had an Android device so I make no claim to comparing anything.

* The A15 chip is quick at some tasks such as benchmarking or 3D rendering an image. It opens some apps quite fast as well - but I was very surprised to find my old (old old) Android opening a number of apps even faster than the A15. - It seems that general navigation isn't a night & day difference at all, even with a 500% faster chipset.

* Apps aren't more polished on iOS. Apps that I've tried (without looking) offer better functionality on an Android (22Seven / Childcloud / Snapseed / MyBroadband etc). In fact, I've actually deleted both 22Seven and Childcloud and rather access via my Android phone.

* Selecting multiple phones is harder on iOS - and I'm not the only one to think that Android is easier here. Weeks down the line, I still tend to long press photos to select a few - which just expands it . The correct way is to click another button (slect) and then select photos because, well, somehow that makes more sense /s

* Sharing is a ball ache - there's no consistency. Facebook shares alright - but Instagram is limited . You can't share to > edit . Snapseed there is no option to share to.

* I've got the iPhone 13 ProMotion to stutter a few times. It's not a huge issue, as Android devices do as well - but the claim is how much better, faster and more polished an iOS app is

* On the above, I also crashes do not happen. Every iOS user says they have never had a crashed iOS, but their old Android required reboots every day (bizarre, I know). I've crashed iOS twice in a few weeks - but it's been fairly stable recently. For comparison, that is more crashes than my old (old, old) Android in the same time .

* The battery is great - probably has a screen-on time slightly higher than my old (old, old) Android. In 3 years and based on the reviews - I expected a bit more, but better is still better. I can easily get a day use

* I've had to retrain my brain as the 1st few days I realised that I can't go 0 - 100% battery charge as fast as I used to. But now that I've learnt to charge overnight again, it's not issue. Qi charging is a bit slow (7.5w) - so you have to go with their proprietary MagSafe to increase that to what I was used to in my old (old, old) Android !5w) . My subsequent was almost 30w wireless

* Face ID feels slower than what I had as there is an extra step involved., which takes getting used

* no battery percentage - but that's changing soon

* Camera - I went to my girls school concert and this thing is good, but I just wished that I had my Android for a decent zoom. On th whole, the camera is better than my old (old, old) Android - but it's pretty marginal against my old, old Android (barring the zoom and a few features that I miss on the Android)

I think that highlights what I've been saying for a while now .

* I've Android for 10 years and have to reboot every few hours and put up with crashes. iOS this never happens - it's truly remarkable

* The battery is great - three times what I'm used to! It just keeps going and going and going - phenomenal !

* The charging speed selected is irrelevant because the battery lasts so long - but 19w would have been too slow, and 21w generates heat. Apple chose a perfect 20w - bravo ! No ther company can do this !

* Camera -The best I've ever seen. Almost holographic - details, color and contrast are only topped by the DSL,

Regardless, when you find it press Edit (top of screen) and then crop icon (bottom of the screen), and then select the size icon (top of the screen), and then you can select the size (bottom of the screen).

So it’s top screen / bottom screen/ top screen /bottom screen …

I moved from an iPhone 6 to a Samsung S10e. While I find them to both be good, I do prefer the android operating system.

This was 2 and a half years ago. Still do not regret my decision.

I went from a Samsung Galaxy S4 to an iPhone 6. Also, no regrets.
