More US iPhone users want to switch to Android than vice versa

I tried iMessage when I got it …

But it’s just buried in a sea of SMS. It’s more trouble than it’s worth. They should separate SMS and messages

That could work, and it's not like Apple compulsively merge things like mail and contacts into a version of Outlook... I mean they even broke iTunes up.

Go back/swipe gesture on iOS is a royal mess.
Some apps you need to reach up top and press the little back arrow. Some apps have a back arrow at the bottom. Some apps allow you to swipe from left to right. Right to left swipe doenst work at all. Complete cluster f**k.

Perhaps because it isn't? The two draw cards highlighted in this thread is iMessage and faster updates and both have been disproven in this thread. The fast majority of people in ZA use Whatsapp and Telegram. Android is also much more modular so Android phones stay relevant a lot longer. I'm going to spend my evening limiting my 4k Mi stick to 2mbps to see if I can still stream FHD with AV1 something Android supported for 3 years already. Maybe Apple will support AV1 in 2026.
