More than a third of iPhone users want to switch to Android — Study

A study by Beyond Identity has found that more Apple users want to switch to Android than the other way around.

The company's findings stem from a survey of 1,003 US citizens, 505 of which used Android phones and 498 that used Apple phones.

I moved from an iPhone 6 to a Samsung S10e. While I find them to both be good, I do prefer the android operating system.

This was 2 and a half years ago. Still do not regret my decision.

The Andoid vs Apple battle continues...

I recently switched from Android to Apple - got the Apple iPhone 13 Pro. My reason being that Android phones usually stop receiving OS updates after 2 major updates, and that the iPhone feels like it is a higher quality product. Also didn't like how OS updates take forever... Google releases, then your phone manufacturer adds their spin to the update, then your network carrier might add their 2c to the update before you get it.

I have gone through so many Android phones... enough is enough

It often take a long time for some to realise which is better. For some the penny never drops. I really tried living with the rotten fruit devices, but it is like owning a merc s500 and then try to live with a citigolf. I will keep living comfortably with a working system. Windows and android just are way better imho. Apple is like someone speaking archaic Hindi in a modern world where all speak modern English, and then not understanding English.

And once you start thinking about the broader reality of the situation, you quickly realize that Android has some pretty significant advantages when it comes to older device updating. They're just advantages that are all too easy to overlook — and ones that don't fit neatly into Apple's carefully crafted narrative.
