MTN 3G Prices - Rep?

MTN, I am using your 3G as I find the speeds good enough for me, however, I have made a graph with the latest 3G prices other ISP's are offering.

I would like to give you my money and remain an MTN Data User, but not if it remains this expensive.

Are you going to do anything about this? If we don't get some form of Response from a Rep or something, this will be seen as BAD PR on your behalf.

last i saw there was no official MTN rep here & the one guy that did help when he had time has left the forum, so I doubt you'll get an answer.

having been a long time MTN customer (pretty much since they launched), I finally gave up with them on the data side and have switched to CellC, yes, CellC have had their problems, but I'm tired of the data rip-off combined with MTN's absolute billing disaster. In the 2 years I was with them, despite numerous requests they were never able to furnish me with an invoice that effectively quantified my usage, so as of end this month my data contract is cancelled.

I'm still stuck with them for voice until July, but am seriously considering taking my money elsewhere as I'm tired of getting shafted, but still not convinced that the shafting is really that much different anywhere else.

no there isn't. shows you how "in touch" MTN actually is. 80% of that company are paper pushers who's biggest innovation is a cardboard box. i give them about a month at minimum to come to the 3G party, and even then it wont be earth shattering.
 
Works on all networks.
CellC though wont get hsdpa speeds as they on diff frequency.

CellC and VC have both made their moves, will be interesting to see if MTN can come up with anything better or more creative, or will it just be a copycat of VC's 3 months special?
 
Why not try twitter :) you will always get a response and if you want the PR contact details I will pass it on to you - that why you can address this but it wont make a difference just give them until end of the year WACS will be in place by then and in operation and lighting up the streets Yellow with the Red Flag :)

Patients if the red family are joining the black family soon, then the yellow family will come on board. Then the other baby red family and baby black family will also join the big family :) not forgetting Wing Family as well :P
 
the other day i suggested that rpm get an official respond about why they don't have a rep on mybb.
 
exactly- this is not a recognised complaints site, the people that were on here dedicated their off time to assist with your problems. The constant pessemistic attitude of the forumites drove the possible reps away from here. Hell, i love all you guys and i wish i couldve stayed because you all have a special place in my heart, but my responsibilities on the road have dictated that i focus my assistance elsewhere, same as the situation with mtndatadude- i had held on to assist for as long as i could, im sorry guys...
 
Are you telling me the CellC & Vodacom reps on the site do so out of their own free will, in their own time? They probably pay for the bandwidth used out of their own pocket too?

No, many of the other ISP have employees who monitor MyBroadband, MTN don't.
