I'm here to help where I can. I haven't seen you ask for help once. Now if complaining is going to fix the problem then so be it. I'm more than willing to help if you ask and let me try.

This has been an attack on MTN from your very first post, not a request for assistance.

I'm still more than willing to help. Let me know what the problem is and PM me your number. Blowing @ MTN will not fix the problem

While MTN still has a long way to go in measuring up in the customer satisfaction department, they still remain leagues better than their competitors.

The support I have had in this forum from MTN people who help out through no other reason than being helpfull was awesome. It's just their 808 callcentre that still needs some work.

Now, if we could get some 3G in stellenbosch and Durbanville, i'd truly no longer have any problems with my cellular provider. IMO, that is the only advantage VC has over MTN - 3G coverage.

Thanks for your offer, but I've PM'ed my details too many times and nothing happens... Just the normal reply thingie that it's been forwarded to the data help desk/relevant department etc. etc.

I've made peace with it now... The towers in my area was adjusted and I'm in the dead zone since all the towers point in a 3 way direction and I'm just unlucky...

I'm thinking of getting a Yagi to see if that will help me...

Otherwize I'll just carry on till the end of the year and start afresh with somebody else...

Without being rude, what more is there that you can do to help me? MTN was here at my house and confirmed my situation... Maybe someday things will get better...

Everybody seems to have crap service in form or another.
Seems nobody is perfect [Cell-c is unmensionable]
Think im gonna have a drink,go to karaoke and ponder on all i have just read....

If you soooo bummed about losing your HSDPA and find MTN unwilling to help why not just get yourself an antennae to help with coverage.

As the old saying goes "You want something done right, do it yourself"
Otherwise good luck with VC and i mean good luck. :cool:
