So they closed another escalation call, after logging it yesterday 4th or 5th call they have closed without solving the problem in the past 12 days.So decided to go with the nuclear option, google MTN email addresses and use those I have on hand, cc the shyte out of every available email address, be it PR be it social development or sponsorships, just email everyone.

Few emails comes back this person is no longer with MTN please email this and this person, cc's all the new addresses and strike gold, public relations manager that was on leave with an automated response, and he was kind enough to add his number, so I am going to leave him in peace, till Monday and give him a polite call and inform that most of MTN has been emailed.

This email bomb trick works 100%, as soon as you email outside or other departments that can't assist it gets escalated to the managers of that departments and every one gets cc'd, and the resulting shyte storm that results is a thing to behold, sit back get your popcorn and watch as shyte unfolds.

How hard is it to correctly allocated my data after the first request.

so the other guys that doesn't get sorted next week with your BF allocations, contact me, I will forward the information.

What does that code do/mean?

Spoke with the Call Centre earlier. They don’t have all the deals flying around on hand, but can try to process something for you if you have a deal code they can search for.

i did call in today regarding this R299 deal.
Upgrades said it's not an offer from their side. it has to be done through retentions only.

Thanks all for the MTN Data Share tidbit. I had no idea about this (free) service. Activated via the myMTN app and now sharing the data across 2 pocket routers, an iPad and a laptop.

Edit: just a note that my iPad won’t work on LTE...3G only.

That's correct. The package is MTN Choice 30.
It's 30GB standard + 30 promo day
And 30GB standard + 30 promo night

Hi, does anyone know how long it takes for the day and night promotional data to be added on to an account? I've already received my standard data.

Good lord received a Facebook message at 21:52 yet another call has been logged. Seems the email bomb is taking effect.BTW it normally takes 2 to 24 hours and in extreme cases 48 to 72 hours for data to be allocated.

If by end of business day on Monday data hasn't been allocated kindly call the call center get a reference number and pm me the escalation number and I will try my best to assist with another email. The fact that I got a support response so late at night is a good indication that my email got the right people's attention.

I have asked for a different approach now as escalation isn't getting the job done.I made it clear that failure to address the matter in a reasonable time frame consumer ombudsman will be roped in to assist.12 days to fix a simple allocation problem, is not on.

Apparently all MTN made for me packages cannot do data share.
Please can someone confirm this for me as i have managed to add only 3 numbers and the 4th one keeps giving me an error.

When did you sign the contract and have you received your minutes & data?

I signed the business contract late yesterday but still haven't received anything.. All my previous 2016BF data disappeared yesterday, so I currently have 0 data :(
I too did it early yesterday but via email with MTN Centurion rep.

I’m sure on Monday we will see some activity ... but currently I still have my previous contract data , minutes etc.

I didn't realise you could use Datashare over so many sims, whats the max allowable?

Can you Datashare from a contract sim(the 60gb+60gb R299 deal) to a prepaid Mtn sim?
