Is it confirmed that those that took the 40GB+40GB+650min+200SMS @ R299 wont be able to data share?

I know this is a Made for Me contract which shouldnt be able to (im re-thinking this), but there is a subset of data called "Data Share" which makes me think its possible.

EDIT: There's no mention of Made for Me contract types being excluded in the Data Share T&Cs:

I edited my post, came across the Data Share T&Cs which makes no mention of Made for Me being excluded.

But thanks, I was wondering what the ~5GB data portion called "Data Share recurring account" implied, was hoping it could have been linked to another MTN number.

EDIT: I looked at the Made for Me T&C's, there it is stated that Data Share cannot be activated....But... Dual Call (2nd SIM) can be activated on Made for Me packages for an additional ~R10/month.

I tried to activate data share but it doesn't work. Made for me does allow for dual SIM though.

I find it weird that made for me is specifically excluded from data share? MTN should change this.

Made for me are more voice orientated. you get very little data and more voice.
MTN Choice is data orientated.

Go at it, by 14:00 I still haven't received a reply, they still haven't properly fix my missing data or provided feedback since Tuesday. I am a little more then pissed now, as the horrid service and lackluster support isn't going to keep me around for much longer. I had less trouble with afrihost, and they management to allocate my data each and every month without fault, without delay and on time

OK so... I managed to get off the R149 deal and onto the R99 retentions deal. The retentions deals are no longer available but if you were offered the deal before they expired (think Tuesday?) then MTN will honour it.

@wizardofid yeah I haven't heard anything either yet. Looks like black Friday has really put them on the back foot

Their service was kark before BF, considering the contract I am having the most issues with has been reported since the 12th of November, well before BF mania took hold.....

Lol seriously whacked, the email I sent this afternoon, was enough stuffing me around, your service is shate and I am being penalized for your shate service. Was quite happy to settle for my missing data which that you even didn't manage to get fixed properly. So compensation or cancellation your choice, waiting to see their response.

Seriously I can't continue struggling every month to get data assigned, or make sure correct bundles are being depleted, this stuff should just work, thank god this isn't an open contract, OOB would have probably come around and bit me in the ass too

Yip datashare not working on my end with this Made for me M R299 deal.

How can I activate dual call? In store?

Someone seems to have f'd up something on my line. Since the contract upgrade sms yesterday, only 3g signal, no data connection no calls in our out. Customer care say they've logged an escalation ticket. Ridiculous

Forgot to mention, will this dual call allow data share as well?
It's called Dualism, it's a duplicate sim that has a unique number and can use certain portions of the data bundles(normally either only the base data or promo data) and minutes from the main sim.

I have the mychoice 60+60gb 299 and the dualsim is working and the call center activated the Datashare, though I haven't tested the Datashare yet.
