MTN Black Friday Discussions

Which promos from telkom were that good? didn't see much.
Only thing i really wanted from MTN was that Made For Me Sky package, the rest were... meh

Got the Note 10 with the sky package and additional 10gb at no extra charge x24 on top of the 15gb=15gb package, so i'm guessing it's 20gb day and 20gb night, will see. R1299 pm, which i think isn't bad at all! I call a lot so i need the unlimited calls, the data is a bonus
Phone is still going to be shipped Monday. But my sim is already upgraded to the new deal.. which is nice :)

2016 Black Friday: 50GB + 10 000 on net minutes @ R149
2016 Cyber Monday: 50GB + 10 000 on net minutes @ R199 - R299 on cheapest device options

2017 Black Friday & Cyber Monday: 20GB + 10GB @ R199
30GB + 20GB @ R299

2018 Black Friday upgrade of 2016: 60GB + 60GB @ R299

2019 Black Friday: 60GB Anytime @ R391 (after some clever math)

So yeah...

Vodacom all the way baby

And of course MTN FLTE through 3rd parties if you got coverage.

No mention of MTN's Made for me Sky unlimited for half the price?? R999 to R499.

Comparing this to their Made for me L, i'd say it's a steal! Vodacom and Telkom don't come close with their entry level unlimited packages. Telkom comes in closest with their 20GB FreeMe with 1500minutes ( FUP ) at R602 +- pm.
 
I eventually got the R199 and R299 2018 BF (business)promo extended.

It took 5 different “champions” to go through, bunch of tw@ts.

I was told that the R199 deal is no more, so I had to move to the R299 deal.
Are you saying that they actually gave you the R199 deal ?
 
So is there a MTN rep on this site? My data for the last two months have been lower than usual? I have second round black friday specials. I am suppose to get 30gb and 30gb but now only get 20gb and 30gb night data?

Can I go to the ombudsman when MTN breaks contract?

How should I proceed?
