Looks like I have to call, majority of the malls in CPT being robbed as we speak.

I asked for the A5 and was told that wasn't an option. I told her I'm seeing it online as we speak and she then agreed and gave it to me.

Left foot not knowing what the right foot is doing perhaps?
 
I did the sim only option at the store. R199. That's a new contract, I'm not a prior MTN customer.
 
Just called the 083 123 3667 number, have to take a phone with it, cheapest option with phone is R229, looks like I'll go to the store and see if I can get it that way.

Luckily you didn't listen.I forgot the A5 newer 2016 edition comes with an AMOLED screen which is vastly better than normal LCD's available on the other two.That's it main trick but if you're fussy about screen quality like I am then it's an important trick.:)

You might not get the 50gb data that way,the brochures/pdf sent to the stores clearly exclude sim only deals,they even mention separately that it has to be a device deal.

Rather cancel and do it the proper way if you really want that 50gb data.

What phone is that? Y3 Lite?

What's the most cost effective one to get? I'm looking at taking out another contract and selling the phone as I don't need it. The Y3 Lite is a R700 phone :erm:

Yup, I went back to the store and as I walked in the guy said, "Oh ja, I was wrong". So I cancelled.
 
I received my first invoice. I was under the impression that the My MTNChoice Talk+ S is R149 pm. The invoice says R218.43 ex vat.
What gives?

What was your activation date? Might be that the pro rata portion is added, thereby making it more than what the normal monthly cost is... or a connection fee? Still have to check mine though.
