Any idea which phones are still available on this 50gb deal? Is it at specific stores or all?
Dont go for the lg g4 though, if you are by any chance in that area. Didnt own one personally (using their v series) but that phone was known for bootlooping (motherboard replacements are generally needed if that occurs)The MTN store in Pavilion Durban has a couple of the phones left. Its only while stocks last. I had the list but I lost it. Not many great phones left though. The cheapest was the Redmi 2 at R249, there was the MI 4 for R299. LG G4 and the beat version of it, Blackberry Priv, S6 Egde plus. I dont remeber the prices of those though. There were much more but nothing worth looking at
EDIT: I was there on the 4th (2 days ago) and got this info
I saw messages a few days ago that some phones are available on the deal

Got another Dual Call sim on my 2nd 50gb contract, want to use the data in a router as I'll never get through 50gb on device.
MTN guy was surprised that my first dual call sim can access the 50gb data, said perhaps it's using airtime not the bundle last I checked that wasn't the case, wasn't even using the 500mb bundle first?
Also checked now, the dual call sim uses data from the 50gb bundle, no doubt about it.I have also tested my dual sim, data is used from the 50gb first. Calls minutes are deducted from the inclusive minutes.
I also setup data share on the one sim, and shared to a prepaid number. when i watched youtube vids on that prepaid sim the data was depleted from the contract sim 500mb. on the myMTN app it shows the 500mb as the datashare bundle
I have not managed to test, using up all the 500mb using the prepaid sim and then see what happens.
I have the secondary sim in a Huawei B315s LTE router. Works perfect

Intersting how nicely Mtn set these contracts up, for once it suits the customer, using the 50gb first really is nice.
I'd be interested to know if datashare can access the 50gb or if it's only the 500mb, even if it can't it's advantageous because then you can share the 500mb without worrying about the datashare device chewing your 50gb bundle.
Sorry haven't use fnb in yonks,do you earn ebucks on debit orders and efts?Asked the Mtn guy about paying via credit card(so I can earn ebucks on Fnb), they said no problem. The monthly payment will come off the credit card, you just need to rememeber when the credit card expires to load up the new card.
I've got datashare on mine - definitely uses only the 500MB.
Apparently a monthly contract bill charged to your CC is viewed as an online payment by Fnb and ebucks are earned.Sorry haven't use fnb in yonks,do you earn ebucks on debit orders and efts?
It's called Dual Call, saying dual sim confuses everything.Got the Mtn dual sim in store now, let see how long before it works.
No Zondo love for me eitherDid everyone that got these contract get the Zando voucher sms?
I got two contracts and no voucher sms on either lines, I've bought from Zando before so perhaps that's why I didn't get one.
Just occurred to me I also didn't subscribe to marketing so that's probably the reason, even though it's a free voucher it's still marketing. Can those that got the Zando sms check if they are subscribed to marketing?
