MTN Black Friday Discussions

My local MTN has been calling me with a special early upgrade deal, but I couldn't take the call. Asked my wife/PA to take a message. Why the rush for upgrading? I'd rather wait until BF to see the available options.
 
so i accepted the contract for 50gb per month for next 2 years. Some night data, who knows wont use it. Def suits my needs for when i am out and about as most of my calling is on whatsapp calling anyway.

Does it allow datashare?
That is the killer aspect of the Bf deal I have, I can datashare to all my Sims so a major cost and hassle is sorted.

I actually use a prepaid SIM as my main voice sim, it gets its data from the Bf contract, which is really the main need these days of internet based everything including comms

no clue unfortunately. And no, no minutes. Only data. I hardly use minutes, so no big issue.
 
Received a call from MTN yesterday telling me that im due for an upgrade. the lady then asked if I want to upgrade or if I received BF deals. I Said yes Im on a BF deal and will wait. She said they will email the BF deals that they're going to have. Havent received anything yet though.

any one get any other offers, or just what anyone can get off their site?.
 
So my invoice for my and my wife's account jumped up from R403.55 every month to R1084.66 this month. I unfortunately can't get a @*&% invoice out of them to determine why.

Do the BF deals run out after 24 months? I see the wife's contract expired in August, but can't say I got a lot of upgrade requests. She was on a heavily discounted MyMTNChoice 10GB previously with an additional voice bundle or two.

You can get an invoice using the mtn app, open the app, go to account, click on bill, than choose previous bills, select the month of the bill you need, and than u enter the email address you want to email it too.

You might want to send the invoice to a primary and secondary email address as I had issues with not receiving the invoice on my primary email after many attempts

I tried this numerous times - logging in with my own number, logging in with my wife's number, using my email address and using her email address. I never received a statement.

Pretty annoying.

I had the same problem with using a gmail account, my yahoo account worked instantly.
 
I got a few emails about upgrading with some deals but nothing I was interested in.
