Does anyone know how long it takes for the QR code to arrive via email?

Hi. I did mine yesterday at the Umhlanga MTN store. It took about 5-10 minutes. They deactivate the physical sim. Once they do the sim swop, You will receive the QR code immediately in store. They recommend activation in store to avoid any problems.
Its free. There's no cost for eSim on your phone. There's only a cost of R25pm if you use esim on your Apple Watch. It's worth it because it frees up your normal sim to use another network like Vodacom etc. Loadshedding - it's good to have two networks. You can also switch one off when not in use. What was the cost of changing over to a eSim?
Do you know if you can have an esim in your phone and Apple watch? The MTN store I went to made it sound like I had to choose whether I wanted an esim in my phone or if I wanted to have my Apple watch able to use cellular. Its free. I think it is currently for personal accounts and contract only.Is it possible to get esim for iPhone on a business contract?
Did you do it online somewhere? And if so, can you point me where to?Does anyone know how long it takes for the QR code to arrive via email?
Unfortunately not. I had to go to an MTN store and request a sim swap to an eSim.Did you do it online somewhere? And if so, can you point me where to?
Contract or Prepaid?Unfortunately not. I had to go to an MTN store and request a sim swap to an eSim.
Contract. I don't think they do it for prepaid sim cards because there is a R25 monthly fee I think. The first 6 months is free.Contract or Prepaid?
That's a pity. Telkom doesn't charge anythingContract. I don't think they do it for prepaid sim cards because there is a R25 monthly fee I think. The first 6 months is free.
Yeah I have no idea why they have to charge for it. Vodacom does the same. That's a pity. Telkom doesn't charge anything
I have had my MTN esim for two years now, I can confirm I have never been charged R25pm for esim. I have a R99 data contract and i pay exactly R99 per month.Yeah I have no idea why they have to charge for it. Vodacom does the same.
Well that's good news, I'll see what happens. R25 for the convenience isn't going to kill me.I have had my MTN esim for two years now, I can confirm I have never been charged R25pm for esim. I have a R99 data contract and i pay exactly R99 per month.
Reminds me I have to renew my contract because it is on month to month now.Well that's good news, I'll see what happens. R25 for the convenience isn't going to kill me.
I know the eSim is R25pm but do you need to have an existing MTN contract on your number to get an eSim or is it available if you’re currently on prepaid with MTN?
