MTN Mifi Router activation

I got one of these Hisense routers and self Rica'd on Friday afternoon...

I got an sms to my phone almost straight away saying that 'You have been RICA'd successfully, you may now use your MTN sim" but this morning the sim is still not activated. They say it takes 24 hours to approve the RICA, but no mention how long it takes to activate the sim, so anyone know the procedure here? Will activation take some time or only happen on a weekday maybe, or should it be activated if the RICA was approved on Friday already and I have another issue?

Thanks, tried it this morning in a phone and it gave the message that the phone is 'un-RICA'd'.

I'll get along to the the shop today hopefully.

most likely they didn't activate it on their end fully,
an extra security feature they didn't turn off,

Annoying, especially after getting the sms saying it was all good. Then the weekend comes when they seem to not give a schit about customer service anymore.

welcome to South Africa, Customer Service is a Skill nobody gets right in SA.
does not matter if its at a Bank, Fibre operator, Car Dealership, Fast food place, everywhere its sh*t,

if I brought the MIFI cash, I wouldnt even bother going back to the store,
just figure out how to load the stock firmware on the Device and screw going back and begging for them to fix it.
