MTN Speed Test Results

What happened to the pyramid for CT on speedtest.net? Only now see Gaborone and Windhoek.

What do you mean by "online updater"?
The MTN dashboard software does have (used to have?) an online updater that would check for new versions of the dashboard via http and offer to download them automatically.

Maybe MTN updating their website has broken the links.

I think I had the MTN dashboard on my E220 originally, but that got sent to hell by the Huawei one over 2 years ago, so I'm not really that familiar with the MTN dashboard.

I switched from a Vodacom 3G E220 to using my HTC TyTN II with MTN as you can see from the results i should have stuck with the E220.

Is there a trick to getting it to work faster using my TyTN II? I don't have an MTN dashboard just the WM 6.1 Internet Connection Sharing.

No it cannot. 384kbps is the max upload speed on that device and no firmware update will be able to make it upload faster.

That is interesting.... Thanks for the valuable info.

i am looking at the globe trotter 7.2 as a replacement. Still trying to decide whether to go back to Vodacom or not.
