Thanks, I think that confirms that 'unrestricted' breaks out in Midrand, whereas 'internet' and 'internetvpn' break out in Cape Town.

Happens to me too, it seems the MTN network breaks out in JHB, so the JHB server appears closer than the CT one.This is most weird - get a better connection to JHB server than CT one whilst in CT at airport within minutes of each test.![]()

Yes, the tower in Harrington Street doesn't have the 64kbps upload limit.However, in CT (gardens) the upload speed went into the 300 kb's. Is this base station related?
